Based on the old 12-metre yachts used at the America’s Cup, the 2.4mR was born in 1982, designed by Peter Norlin of Sweden. It’s been used as Paralympic equipment since 2000, seen multiple world champions, Para World Sailing champions and Paralympic medallists.
