New Spiders Academy (12 to 14's) starting 2020

These are development programs for boys and girls aged between 8 and 14 years of age who would like to be future Spider Representative basketball players with these being intermediate level skills programs.  Academy Skills consist of basic and advanced fundamentals; and fitness and conditioning aspects relevent to under 12 and U14 representative players.

Pre-requisites for children participate in Spiders Academies:
Friday Academy program - basic skills and game play understanding (at least two terms of beginner classes)
Sunday Academy program - currently playing local competition and/or school basketball (at least two seasons)

Children from other sports who have attributes or skills that may give them a competitive advantage (e.g. height, athleticism, speed, strength, good hand-eye co-ordination from participating in other ball sports) or a background in gymnastics or similar are also encouraged to attend as these are good foundation sports for playing basketball.

Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
