July 7, 2008 (HAARLEM,Netherlands) On Monday, the IBAF, in conjunction with the City ofHaarlem (NED) and Haarlem Baseball Week, presented its plan for the 2009 Baseball World Cup, which is to be held across Europe in September2009.
The press conference featured IBAF representatives Riccardo Fraccari (European Continental Vice President), Martin Miller (2nd Vice President) and John Ostermeyer (Secretary General), and the mayor of the City of Haarlem opened the event while Ruud Van Zetten – President of the Baseball Federation in Netherlands – was the master of ceremonies.
The 2009 Baseball World Cup is scheduled for September 9-27, 2009, with the final to be held in Rome, Italy.
