Like so many others, the sport and physical activity sector has already been significantly challenged by Coronavirus (COVID-19) and this may continue in the weeks and months ahead.
Yesterday the six sports of Hockey, Football, Netball, Rugby, Basketball, and Rugby League alongside Sport Wellington and College Sport Wellington met to discuss our regional response and how we can work together to ensure that we come through this period in as strong a position as possible and ensure that we can continue to deliver appropriate activities for our communities. As details come to hand we will work together to provide updates via our various communication channels
We want to do everything we can to encourage people to stay active, wherever possible, which we think is now more important than ever.
Sport Wellington has released a helpful one- pager which sets out some great ideas on how to keep active while at home or close to home.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
