OPPORTUNITY OFFERED BY OCEANIA AA.
Once again Oceania AA has offered Oceania athletes the opportunity of competing in an international competition, this time the Half-Marathon. The athlete selected by KAA was Teebwaki Kenneth, the same young man who was lucky enough to attend the IAAF Gala in Barcelona with his father previously.
Arrangements completed by KAA Secretary Mrs. Maata Pine and by OAA officer Mr. Lars Hansen resulted in Teebwaki travelling OK to Gold Coast, staying for a few days either side of the race on July 5th., and then returning home.
IMAGE and RESULT.
Please see attachment (from Lars) showing him in race kit (no. 920) with a group of athletes and his position and time.
