WA champions ready for national stage

Bayswater City wrapped up a fourth trophy last weekend when David Heagney scored the only goal in their National Premier Leagues WA Grand Final win over Perth SC at Dorrien Gardens.

But the show rolls on this Saturday when NPL South Australia champions North Eastern MetroStars attempt to upset the locals at Frank Drago Reserve in a Playstation 4 NPL Finals Series Elimination Final.

The winner of this weekend’s match, which kicks off at 2pm, will progress to a semi-finals encounter against either South Hobart or South Melbourne, who will play at 11.30am (WA time) on Saturday.

The PlayStation 4 NPL Finals Series winner will qualify for next year’s Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.

Bayswater won the Night Series, Cool Ridge Cup, NPL WA league title and Grand Final this season.
