BCI Stadium, Tereora


The BCI Stadium at Tereora will host the Opening and Closing ceremonies,
the athletics competition, rugby sevens and rugby league sevens.

Telecom Sports Arena


During the Pacific Mini Games the Telecom Sports Arena will be home to netball, squash
and weightlifting. To see the TCA in action check out our Video Archive which has
short videos of action from the recent World Youth Netball Championships.

National Auditorium


Boxing will take place at the National Auditorium in Tupapa.

Rarotonga Golf Club

The four-day golf competiton will take place at the 9-hole Rarotonga Golf Club.

Rarotonga Bowling Club


Unfortunately the new green at the Rarotonga Bowling Club, Tutakimoa, will not be ready
for the nine-day bowls competition but the original green is rested and in great condition.

CIFA Headquarters, Matavera


Touch rugby takes place over five days at the Cook Islands Football Association grounds in Matavera.

Avatiu Harbour

Triathlon starts and finishes at Avatiu Harbour. Photographs of the run and

Tennis Centre, Nikao

The four-court tennis centre near Nikao beach is completed, with tiered seating and picnic table area for spectators The recent rain has helped newly planted garden. (The court isn't really curved! That's the effect of the panorama shot).

Te Karere - Today's Sports

The 8th Pacific Mini Games have come to an end

After twelve days of competition, sportsmanship and friendship the 2009 Cook Islands mini games have ended.  We'll see you all in New Caledonia in 2011 and Wallis and Futuna in 2013.
