3 FIH LEVEL ONE COACHING WORKSHOPS IN NZ

FIH have given permission to National Federations who have accredited FIH Coach Trainer or Educator personnel to deliver their Level One and Two Courses. Hockey New Zealand have been very proactive,through their Community Coaching Manager Nicole Youman,consulting with FIH and Oceania HF, as they developed the courses to fit the local context and to compliment their Coach Developers pathway.

HOCKEY HOOKS INTO HEALTH IN PNG

With its men’s and women’s teams currently ranked 56th and 53rd respectively in the FIH World Rankings, Papua New Guinea has been making big strides forwards in recent years at international level. In 2017, both the men’s and women’s teams experienced top class international hockey when they competed against the Oceania giants of the sport, Australia and New Zealand in the Oceania Cup.

MASTERS TRANS TASMAN "CHAMPIONS GIVE BACK"

At the recent Trans Tasman Masters Series held in the Gold Coast, at the beginning of May, Australian and New Zealand Masters' players generously donated equipment to Solomon Islands to assist their hockey development.
