ABOUT US

The Albury Basketball Association is a volunteer operated Association that offers weekly domestic competitions and a NSW affiliated representative program.

The Albury Basketball Association is governed by a board of directors, positions include, Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Representative, Development, Senior and Junior competitions.

The Albury Basketball Association has a long and proud history offering basketball to the Albury community over 70 years, with many great players playing, none more famous than Lauren Jackson.

All domestic competitions age groups range from U10 to U18, whilst representative programs runs age groups from U12 to U18 years old.

The Junior Domestic Competition is a CLUB based system including Panthers, Celtics, SS&A, Wildcats, PCYC as well as Trinity and Scots Schools entering teams.

The Albury Basketball Association is a proud partner of the Albury Wodonga Bandits.

 VISION

 Our VISION is to make basketball is the SPORT OF CHOICE for families in Albury as well as positively impacting and the supporting local, social and community making basketball EVERYONE’S GAME.

 MISSION

 Lead the growth, promotion and participation of Albury Basketball by supporting our community at all levels.

 

Provide development pathways for all areas of Basketball.

 

Collaborate with our community stakeholders to develop products and programs to encourage participation, inclusion and growth.
