Emerging Athlete Development Program
The Emerging Athlete Development Program (EADP) is for athletes that have been identified as High Performance athletes with the potential to make the State Performance Program (SPP) and compete at a National Championships. EADP sessions will run in term 4 and 1 (Centralised Training) and Term 2-3 (Decentralised Training within associations). Participation in this program is by invitation only.
What to expect:
- Athletes will attend weekly 90 minute sessions for the entire term
- Athletes will need to pay a $80 registration fee covering Term 2 & 3

- Athletes will need to have a blue and red reversible singlet, and bring a ball and drink bottle to each session
Player Criteria:
- Must be U14, U16 or U18
- Must be invited to attend by the High Performance Team
- Must commit to trialling for SA Country selection
- Must be able to commit to entire program
- Must be registered and playing with association affiliated with SA Country Basketball.
