MAITLAND BASKETBALL INVITED TO CIVIC RECEPTION
Following on from the successes of Maitland sporting teams, Mayor of Maitland, Councillor Peter Blackmore, will be hosting a Civic Celebration in the Mall to mark the first year that five Maitland teams bearing the Maitland name have qualified for 1st grade finals in the same season.
All club players are invited, especially ABA men's, their families, friends and loyal supporters to join in the festivities on Saturday. Official proceedings will start at 10.30am, and the celebration is due to end around 1.00pm. Mayor Peter Blackmore will officially present each club with a gift from the City.
A BBQ will run on the day and all proceeds made will be split and donated back to the five clubs, there will also be entertainment for the whole family.
So like loyal supporters we are, please make the effort to help celebrate the achievements of all Maitland teams and join in the festivities this Saturday 25th September @ 10.30am
