GOLD, GOLD, GOLD to the Maitland Mustangs with 3 wins in the Basketball NSW Central Junior League Finals.
The under 16 Women Division One defeated Newcastle by 2 in a hard fought game that saw the lead change many times.
The 16 Men Division 2 defeated Newcastle by 2 in another crowd stopper and a very special win to the youngest Mustangs with the under 12 Women Division 2 team winning their Grand Final against Newcastle in convincing style.
The under 18 women and under 12 women division one teams were defeated by the Gosford City Rebels in their Grand Finals.
The under 16 Women Division one team head to the final 8 of the State Division One Championship to be held in Sydney on the 21/22 August whilst the under 16 Men, under 12 Men and under 12 women head for the final 8 in the Division 2 BNSW State cup in the Sydney on the 28/29 Aug.
Hannah Fox was named MVP in the under 16 Women's Grand Final scoring 19 points.
Meg Jackson was named MVP in the under 12 Women's Division 2 Grand Final and
Jack Edwards was awarded MVP for the under 16 Men.
