Through Court coach course - Saturday 15 September

Being capable of working together as a team to successfully bring the ball down through the court with ease and efficiency is no mean feat.  Creating space to drive into, balancing the court and manipulating available space are all crucial elements to come to grips with.

If you're a coach who's keen to upskill and expand your netball know-how here's your chance to make the most of your off-season for your own personal development.  Why not attend some of our coaching courses aimed at teaching you the best techniques, sharing ideas and supplying you with the right knowledge to be the best coach you can be?  Course content has been compiled by experts from Netball New Zealand and even offer the chance to gain recognised accreditation for your efforts.

The next course on offer is Through Court which provides coaches with the basic tactical principles for through court play on attack and defence.  Learn how to implement tactical strategies and identify through court issues & counters with a focus on quick release and second phase ball on attack and defence.

The workshop will be run in conjunction with the Netball Central Zone's Super Club Tournament allowing a unique opportunity to observe real game scenarios in action and discuss their merits.  Perfect for visual learners who appreciate seeing scenarios played out before them!

While this workshop is geared towards the netball code and is Netball New Zealand accredited, general concepts may be easily applied to all sports.  We therefore welcome attendees from other sporting codes.  We'd like to help you prepare as best you can to allow both you and your team to have a highly enjoyable learning experience for seasons to come.

When: Saturday 15th September 2018
Time: 11.30am to 2pm - held during the Zone Super Club Tournament
