Netball NZ Coaching Modules - Oct & Nov 2015

Netball  Central  Zone  now manage the delivery of the Netball  New Zealand coaching  modules and are pleased to advise the following dates and modules will be held  throughout the Wellington region  as  part  of  the  formal  Netball  NZ  Coach Development Framework.

The  Community  Coach  Award  (CCA) is  the  second  level  of achievement  on  the  Netball  New  Zealand  Coach Accreditation  Pathway.   It  requires  the  completion  of  five compulsory  modules  –  Player  Centred  Coaching, Communicating  & Managing Others, Planning, Skill Analysis and Team Building.

The Performance Coach Award (PCA) is the third level of achievement on the Netball New Zealand Coach Accreditation Pathway.  It requires the completion of further modules including Mental Skills 1, Game Analysis 1 and Fit for the Season as these are prerequisites to the corresponding Advanced Modules - Mental Skills, Skill Acquisition, Enhancing Performance, Planning & Game Analysis.  To complete the PCA, coaches will also need to complete the following skill development modules: Shooting, Ball Skills, Defence 1 and Attack 1.

For coaches who would like to add to their coaching bag of tricks and broaden their knowledge, you are welcome to pick and choose courses of interest provided you first complete the sole pre-requisite module - Player Centred Coaching.  All the best with your personal development!

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
