Carillon Club: Evening with Robyn Broughton and the Haier Pulse Thursday 15th May

UPDATE as at 15 May 2014
Sadly depsite a great deal of interest registered for this great idea and keen attendance secured with the Haier Pulse team, the interest did not translate into ticket sales which has made it very difficult for the Club to plan ahead without the risk of losing money for this fundraiser.  They intend to defer the date and try to hold a similar event in future - date to be advised.

Wellingtonians are invited to share an evening with one of New Zealand’s premier netball coaches Robyn Broughton-ONZM and members of the Haier Pulse. Join us to celebrate the growing success of our netball team and learn how Robyn and her team are focused on winning this year’s ANZ Netball Championship.

Robyn, born in the Hutt Valley has had a life in netball, helping develop not only our premier teams but most importantly working with our young and up and coming players.

Robyn coached the Southern Sting from 1998-2007 in the inaugural National Bank Cup, reaching the finals every year and winning seven out of ten titles. Robyn was the assistant coach of the Silver Ferns in 2000-02 and made a member of the NZ Order of Merit for services to netball in 2004, and in 2012 made an Officer of the NZ Order of Merit. Robyn is also a trustee of the Halberg Trust and Chairwoman of South Island Secondary Schools Netball.

Take this opportunity to listen to Robyn and her team, talk netball while savouring the fine canapés provided by Monsoon Poon, Boulcott Bistro and Osterio del Toro, sample a fine wine, enjoy each other’s company and in doing so support junior sport in our region.
