THANK YOU to all those who took the time to attend this season's U17 trials and made every effort to show your talents to the best of your abilities.  It was fantastic to have the chance to observe your on-court play and the selectors enjoyed seeing such a vast array of skill on show making the selection process a welcome challenge.

It has been decided to utilise the final trial date which was to be Thursday 18th April as the first team training for the U17 team.  This will be held as a one-off at the ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie.  After this date all further trainings will be held at the Hataitai Netball Courts, 43 Ruahine Street, Hataitai on Sundays and Tuesdays.  The U17's training on Thursday 18th April will start at 6.30pm sharp. 

The second training for the U17 team will be on Tuesday 23rd April from 6.00pm to 8.00pm held rain or shine up at the Hataitai Netball Courts.
This second training will incorporate a Welcome Meeting held at 6.00pm.  
All parents/guardians of those named in the U17 team are asked to please make time to attend.  This meeting will last about 15 minutes and will act as an introduction to the Coaches for the team, explain the commitments required of the players for the rep season ahead, outline the fees involved, and will be a chance for the essential health and safety forms to be completed for each rep player.  Uniforms will be distributed at a later date.

Should your name not appear amongst the names below we thank you very much for putting your name forward and committing to attending the trials and wish you all the very best this season ahead.  You will no longer be required to attend the final trial date which was to be held on Thursday 18th April. 

We encourage unsuccessful players to continue fine-tuning your keen netball skills in the hopes of seeing you return again to trial next year and would like to support you further by offering a follow-on Senior Netball Academy.  Attendance will be by invitation-only - we shall be back in touch to advise of further details once finalised.
