Spring Twilight Netball Competition 2012

Mixed Summer Twilight will take place in the ASB Sports Centre Kilbirnie and will continue to run both Wednesday and Thursday competitions. With huge interest already been shown, limited spaces are available so

The competitions will begin on 17th & 18th October and will run for nine weeks, with the finals being played on 12th & 13th December. Teams will be a maximum of seven players on the court at one time (normal outdoor netball rules) with a maximum of three males on the court at any one time- one in each zone.

Women's Spring Twilight registrations are NOW OPEN!

Women's Spring Twilight will offer a choice of location in either the ASB Sports Centre Kilbirnie or Hataitai Courts and will run weekly on Monday nights. The competitions will begin on 15th October and will run for nine weeks, with the finals being played on 10th December. There will be NO GAMES played on Monday 22nd October due to Labour Day holiday which will push the 9 week competition end-date out by a week to finish on Monday 17th December. Teams will be a maximum of seven players on the court at one time (normal outdoor netball rules). Players must be 16 years of age or over.

Changes to Format
The format will change slightly from previous competitions in that there will be only one week of grading; with each team playing two twenty-five minute matches on the first night. So the format will look as follows:

Week 1: Grading (15th, 17th & 18th Oct)
Monday Women's Comp not run Monday 22nd October due to Labour Day Holiday
Week 2-7: Rounds
Week 8: Play-Offs (Wed 5th Dec, Thu 6th Dec, Mon 10th Dec)
Week 9: Finals (Wed 12th Dec, Thu 13th Dec, Mon 17th Dec)

Game Times: 6.15pm, 7.05pm, 7.55pm and 8.45pm rounds each night.

Cost of Entry
Competitions run at ASB Sports Centre
One of two options:

1. Full competition payment $450.00* due by 12^th Oct (9 weeks of competition)
   * Additional $10.00 CASH is to be given DIRECTLY to the umpires of your game on each game night.
   
   OR
   
2. Weekly competition payment $50.00* (first week payment by 12^th Oct)
   All teams must pay a total of $60.00 per game which is due PRIOR to taking the court on the night.
   This payment breaks down to $50.00 (cash/Eftpos/Cheque) which needs to be paid as ‘ONE WEEKLY LUMP SUM’ (ie, one person to come to the registration desk on the night to make a payment - no single player payments please).
   * Additional $10.00 CASH is to be given DIRECTLY to the umpires of your game on each game night.

 

Competitions run at Hataitai Courts:
One of two options:

1. Full competition payment $315.00* due by 12^th Oct (9 weeks of competition)
   * Additional $10.00 CASH is to be given DIRECTLY to the umpires of your game on each game night.
   
   OR
   
2. Weekly competition payment $35.00* (first week payment by 12^th Oct)
   All teams must pay a total of $45.00 per game which is due PRIOR to taking the court on the night. This payment breaks down to $35.00 (cash/Eftpos/Cheque) which needs to be paid as ‘ONE WEEKLY LUMP SUM’ (ie, one person to come to the registration desk on the night to make a payment - no single player payments please).
   * Additional $10.00 CASH is to be given DIRECTLY to the umpires of your game on each game night.

Season bib hire is available from the Sports Control Desk for an additional $45.00 for 9 weeks paid upfront in addition to your team fees or $5.00 paid each game night at the Registration Desk.

Payment Options
Please make payment via any of the following options:
Cheque made out to "Netball Wellington Centre" and posted to Netball Wellington Centre, PO Box 14-845, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241
Payment In Person: Payment can be made in Person via cash/cheque/Eftpos at the Netball Wellington region Office: ASB Sports Centre, 72 Kemp St, Kilbirnie between 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday or on the night at either venue's Registration Desk (Hataitai or ASB Sports Centre).
Payment Internet banking: Account Name: Netball Wellington Centre - Account Number: 12-3141-0055535-00 (Please include your Team Name & reference “WTL 2012”)

Defaults
Please try to ensure defaults are made as soon as possible to allow sufficient time to try and arrange an alternative game for the opposition. There will be a $20.00 default fee for any defaults made on the day of the game (Payable before taking the court for following week).
