Netball NZ announce move to 5 Zone Structure for 2013

Netball New Zealand is excited to announce the Netball Regions and Centres voted in favour of moving from a 12 Region model to a five Zone structure in 2013.

The vote was held at a special General Meeting on Saturday 1st September in Auckland. The mandate for change was confirmed with the vote passing with a 79% majority.

This is a significant strategic change for Netball in New Zealand, one which will take Netball forward to a positive future and lead the way in best practice for Sport.

On behalf of Netball New Zealand I would like to extend our huge thanks to the many people who have worked tirelessly with great vision and passion to support this historic strategic change.

Netball New Zealand will be communicating the next stage of this change over the coming weeks.

Thank you once again!

Kind regards
Raewyn Lovett

Board Chair

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
