**BLAZE AT HOME AND HEAT AWAY THIS WEEKEND**

The Blaze will be looking to continue their impressive start to the 2009 SBL season with another good showing against the Power at home on Saturday.  This game will bring together the 2 highest scoring teams from Round 1 in what should be a good indicator to the Blaze coaching staff of the side's progress defensively.

The weekend off has allowed the girls to work hard on their combinations and they are looking forward to a tough outing in a battle for top spot.

The game tips-off on Saturday at 4pm so don't be late!

The Heat have a long trip to take on Shoalhaven at Bomaderry on Saturday and the boys will be very keen to put the last 2 weeks behind them.  A slow start to the season sees the Heat off the pace so far but with enough time to still become a force.  There were some signs in the Queanbeyan game of the potential in the squad and if they produce this type of intensity for 4 quarters, the Heat will be hard to stop.

The side will need to up their defensive pressure to shut down the Tigers and if the Heat can do this successfully it will take them a long way towards their first win of the season.
