The EDJBA relies heavily on volunteers in many varying areas of operation.  We are always looking for people who are passionate about giving to the competition to improve their childs experience.  When it is misused, volunteering can often become a burden.  At the EDJBA, we value our volunteers and want to ensure that what you are doing is enjoyable for you.  The areas we require assistance in can be either as a one off or on-going.

Data Entry - We have had a great response from the community and for now the positions for data entry have been filled.  You can continue to send through your expressions of interest and we will keep them on file.

This role is needed during the regular season and entails going through the score-sheets, noting who has played which helps us determine qualified players for finals.  This job is shared between 4-5 volunteers, is very straight forward and takes approximately 4 hours per week.  It can be done from home as long as you have access to the internet.

Video Production

This role would suit someone who knows how to edit videos and has the correct program.  This would only be an every so often role.

Ladders - We have had a great response from the community and for now the position for ladders has been filled.  You can continue to send through your expressions of interest and we will keep them on file.

This role is only from Round 7 and would require someone to come into the office once a week to update the ladders.  Ideally this role would suit someone who has some mathematical capabilities and can use excel.  This role would take approximately 2-3 hours each week.

Grading

This role is during the grading rounds only and would suit someone who enjoys analysing results and whose motivation is to see a well graded competition for the whole association.  You can spend up to 5 hours each week for the first 6 weeks in each season.

Venue Inspections

This role would suit anyone who is rotating a number of stadiums each round (ie. multiple kids playing) and would be happy to inspect the venues based on a checklist and submit to the EDJBA.
