Pacific Coast Slam
Congratulations must be extended to both SA Country U/15 teams who have just returned after a week of competition at the Pacific Coast Slam in Port Macquarie, NSW. Both teams played off for the gold medal, with the boys taking on a talented Vic Country Group coached by former SA Country State Coach Terry Casey, and the girls facing off against a tough Queensland South team. The boys unfortunately fell short to claim the silver medal, whilst the girls went on to claim the gold after being undefeated throughout the tournament.
A great effort by both the coaching staff & players of both teams.
SA Country will look to send U/17 teams to this tournament over the next two years, complimenting our teams at the AJCC, underpinning and building on the development for players in regional South Australia
