POBC Pizza Den April Player of the Month - L Sheat
This little girl has already achieved some major personal goals and we have only played 3 games of this season.
Being the youngest in the team is always a challenge, but when you’re nearly 3 years younger than some of the group you train with it can be very intimidating.
Add to that a coach that you have never seen before and is extremely demanding (load), it’s terrifying.
Well this little champion stuck it out. She struggled with training, doing things she had never seen before, had some tear she managed to hang in there (thanks to the support from the parents and team mates).
She has after such a short time conquered her fears. Livia is now taking the lead in activities she was be too scared to even line up for at training.
The driver for her to achieve these goals is obvious when you see her at a game. Once she is in the stadium she is focused on the job at hand. Livia hasheld her own on the court focusing on following instructions and doing her job for her team to get ahead. Its obvious Livia has a passion for her sport andhas managed to overcome obstacles (coach and training) so she can play it.
Congratulations Livia for facing these challenges and winning.
