Round 9 Men's Player of the Week

The Men’s player of the week for round 9 of the 2008 Central ABL is Forestville’s Peter Hoban.

In winning the award for the second time, Hoban had 36 points and 13 rebounds against South, and helped the Eagles create a two game break between the top 3 and the rest of the competition.

Other notable performances included near triple doubles from Norwood’s Todd Matthews and North’s Nick Hambour. Matthews had 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists against West, while Hambour had 18 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists against Sturt. In addition, Centrals’ Jacob Templeton had 19 points and 17 rebounds against Woodville, career highs in both categories.
