Emus Worlds Team Announced
Basketball Australia is pleased to announce the individuals selected to represent the 2007 Australian Emus Under 19 men's basketball team.
The Emus will tour Europe in June and July ahead of the 2007 FIBA World Championship for Under 19 men in Novi Sad, Serbia from July 12-22.
All but four of the athletes selected are currently on scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Australia won the 2003 World Championship for Under 19 men in Greece with a team that included current Australia Post Boomers squad members Andrew Bogut, Brad Newley and Aaron Bruce.
