Madeline Johnstone has booted 4-majors to lead the Eastern Swans to their fifth win of the season with prolific midfielder Alana McNabb chipping with three of her own.
It was a tight opening term with both sides going blow for blow but it was the Swans who were able to kick a late quarter goal to take the upper hand going into the first break. The first half was a physical contest with stoppage after stoppage.
After leading by 14-points at the long break, the Eastern Swans came out firing in the second half.
The running power and clean skills of the Swans was the major difference between the two sides. The Eastern Swans booted 7 second half goals to the Bulldogs 2 behinds.
For the home side, Jessica Taylor and Jennifer Goostrey were the standout performers for Moranbah and were warriors across the four quarters.
Eastern Swans player Madeline Johnstone was fantastic in the ruck and set up a lot of her sides attacking raids. Hanna Quayle was good across half-back and Adele Webb was superb in the forward fifty taking numerous strong contested marks but was unable to convert on the score-board and only able to register the one major for the afternoon.
