Wyndham Vale is shooting for its third-straight flag when it takes on Sunbury Juniors in the Grand Final of the Western Bulldogs Forever Foundation Cup on Saturday.
Wyndham Vale was the inaugural champion in 2005 and won last year's title but it faces a tough challenge against the undefeated Sunbury, who have blitzed the competition.
The Vales have lost just two games in three seasons while Sunbury have steadily improved - last year they finished third - to blossom into a league power.
The players are aged between 13 and 18 years old with the top age players likely to join Victorian Women's Football League clubs next season.
AFL Victoria Female Football Development Manager Chyloe Kurdas encouraged spectators to get along to the free event.
These two teams are very skilled, and probably in the top four teams in Victoria,'' Kurdas said.
The girls play an exciting style of football and each team has some wonderful individual players, including Jess Cameron, who is just sensational from a spectator's point of view."
Cameron, also an Australian junior cricketer, has booted a staggering 61 goals this season, an average of seven a game.
Other Wyndham Vale players to look out for are Jen Plumb, who is also a Victorian Lacrosse representative, Michelle Rowlands and Lauren Camillieri.
For Sunbury, look out for Brooke Surgeon (Victorian Under-19 player/West Interleague Captain), Candace Smith and Mandi Watts.
