Free online umpiring modules - check your knowledge, refresh, or learn how!

Learn the basics of umpiring 7v7 netball or 6v6 netball by completing a free umpire module.  These are interactive, with information, questions to answer and (for 6v6) a video of the rules.

Create yourself a login on Netball New Zealand's 'Bracken Learning' portal.  The link to access Bracken can be found on Netball NZ's website with further info HERE, or you can cut directly to Bracken's log in page HERE

Once you have a log in, you will be able to access these modules:

• 6v6 Umpiring - look under 'Foundation' in the bar directly under the Netball NZ logo (use the drop down arrow if you need to).  Then choose 'Umpire Learning' in the large grey area under the bar, and then '6v6 Umpiring Module'
• 7v7 Umpiring - look under 'Umpiring' in the bar directly under the Netball NZ logo (use the drop down arrow if you need to).  Then choose 'Learning to Umpire' in the large grey area under the bar.  Note, you will need to add the join code 'umpire' to your account to open this module.

For a tutorial of how to access the module step by step (as Bracken can be a little tricky for newcomers), there is a document with details at the end of this page that you can download.
