The competition involves Shane Crawford attempting a world record each week. A person is drawn each week and the club they recommended win $5000 if he does not beat the record, or $10,000 if he does, so Colin entered the competition and was lucky enough to be selected for this week.
Crawf will attempt to break the world record involving having spiders crawling on him for a set period of time.
Colin and his son will travel to Melbourne to be at the Footy Show and will stay to take in the Cats vs Brisbane Lions on Sunday.
We wish Tamworth and Colin well. Colin not only supports the Auskick centre but has been a driving force in liaising with AFL NSW/ACT and local schools and clubs to get support for a junior AFL competition in the North West for 2009.
