You Win Some, You Lose Some

15U Team 3 Runners Up
15U Team 1 Premiers

Congratulations to both the 15U teams that played in the Grand Finals last night.

Andrea's 15-3's went goal for goal with the undefeated top team Caulfield. It wasn't until the dying two minutes in the last quarter when Caulfield capitalised on a few errant passes and missed catches that the margin blew out. In the end Caulfield won by 5.
It was a great effort and great season by the 15-3's and they can all hold their heads up high.

Clare's 15-1's played in an exciting final against Waverley City. Down in the first quarter by 4, they slowly gained control of the match to be up by 6 half way into the last. Waverley's strong defence then stepped up and their goalers started sinking goals from everywhere to come back and draw the game with only a minute to go, Waverley's centre pass. Strong hands over defence by LYVNA defenders caused Waverley to missed the goal. 30 seconds to go, scores tied, LYVNA GK throw in. Our players calmly moved the ball down the court into the goal circle. A contact aginst our GA, Celine Dodd, under the ring. Siren sounds. Celine calmly turns and pops the goal in.
LYVNA win by 1. :)
Congratulations to Clare and her team on a great season and great final. Fittingly, Celine Dodd was also awarded player of the match. Well done Celine
