Janelle's Miracle Junior Netball Classic 2012

What a fantastic day we had on Sunday for the inaugural Janelles Miracle Junior Netball Classic.  This event was to raise awareness and funds for Cervical Cancer research after the passing away of a former Bimbadeen and LYVNA representative player Janelle Kingma Madigan.  The event involved club teams in the Under 9, 11 and 13 age groups.  We had a total of 41 teams competing in over 160 games throughout the day.

Congratulations to ALL players and supporters as the event raised a total of $10260!! What a fantastic result!

There are too many people and businesses to thank individually, but I will point our a few:

To all the clubs and players who gave their time and support for this event.

To all of our fantastic umpires who gave of their time to help with the event.

Robyn Faram, Jackie Church, Carol King and Carmel Potter.  Four absolutely fantastic ladies who did an outstanding job all day.  THANKYOU!

Three businesses being Nancy and Frank Conte at EmbroidMe in Ringwood for supplying our fantastic tournament shirts, Ann Flanagan at ANZ Mobile Lending for the supply of the three perpetual trophies and last but by no means least the fantastic Rohan Alexander and Bendigo Bank in Mooroolbark for their fantastic support and supply of the medallions given to all the participants.

To Sharyn May from SPJ who worked tirelessly for months with me (Steve Connell) to get this event from an idea to an actual event in 5 months.  THANKYOU!!

And lastly to the inspirational Brett Madigan, who, even with the pain of dealing with the passing of his wife, stood tall and brought this event together.

Bring on 2013!!!!
