LYVNA girls Talented? Netball Victoria says YES!!!
9 of our 15U team 1 players have been TID (Talent Identified) by Netball Victoria at the recent Central East Zone Association tournament. What an amazing achievement by these girls - 9 girls from the one team!!!
A BIG Congratulations to Briannon Dodd,Ruby Tidd, Bridget Nix, Maddy Smith, Kate Bennett, Brooke Goldsmith (bottom age!), Selina Fotia, Elissa Dykstra and Ashlee Murphy. These girls will now trial for the Central East Zone Academy squad for 2012. We'll keep you updated with how these girls go!
Speaking of talent, Maddy Smith from our 15U Team 1 was TID at last years Zone tournament and then went on to make the Academy squad of 30. Maddy has been training throughout this year with the Academy and will play in the Academy tournament later this year. Maddy was a bottom age U15 when she was identified! Talented? I think so! Well Done Maddy. We'll all be cheering you on as you continue to climb the High Performance ladder with your netball.
