Welcome to the Gawler and Districts Softball Association (GDSA). The Association was established in 1982 and currently has five clubs and hosts two Senior Divisions, an Under 17 and an Under 13 competition and T-ball (through the Gawler T-Ball League) which are played on Saturdays (October through to March).

While the clubs are based in specific regions (Gawler, Barossa and Two Wells areas) all games are played at Karbeethan Reserve, Evanston Gardens and players can play for any club* regardless of where they live. Girls and boys can start playing softball from the age of 8. There is no maximum age for girls, in fact there are women well into their 60’s still playing. It is a great family sport with mothers and daughters playing together and sometimes in the same team. Boys can play up to the age of 12 but the Association is aiming to develop a boys’ competition.
