SJL Finals Wrap Up
Here is the wrap up from the weekends finals for Southern Junior League in Canberra.
On Saturday, U16 Boys defeated Canberra Gunners White at 10:45am before taking on, and defeating, Canberra Gunners Blue in the preliminary final, and booking themselves a grand final show down against Batemans Bay on Sunday at 11:15am. Tigers U16 Boys have played a terrific final against unndefeated, Batemans Bay Breakers. Unfortunately it was a loss for the Tigers, 63 to 55. A fantastic effort was put in by the team across the whole weekend.
The U18 Boys also defeated Canberra Gunners at 2:15pm on Saturday by 2 points, booking themselves a grand final spot at 1:00pm Sunday, against the Gunners! Another tough game for the U18 Boys who fought hard but went down to Canberra Gunners 68-71 in the grand final.
