Juniors at Country Tours
Shoalhaven Basketball Association is pleased to announce that it has 10 athletes selected to represent NSW Country Basketball at the Australian Junior Country Cup or Pacific Coast Slam from January 14th till January 22nd 2011.
The Athletes selected are as follows
Lucy Marron Under 14 Girls AJCC
Bridget Kellet Under 14 Girls AJCC
Allanah Forde Under 14 Girls AJCC
Sarah Bolt Under 15 Girls PCS
Chloe Butler Under 16 Girls AJCC
Bruce Ozolins Under 14 Boys AJCC
Mat Scott Under 14 Boys AJCC
James Shewan Under 15 Boys PCS
Tom Ozolins Under 17 Boys PCS
Alex Brown Under 18 Boys AJCC
The athlete’s selection on the tours is the first step towards selection for NSW Representation at National Championships and is a great achievement to all athletes and their dedication to the sport.
On top of the athletes selected, Shoalhaven will also be represented on tour with officials as follows;
Mark Goddard Coaching Under 17 Boys at PCS
Scott Balsar Coordinating both Carnivals on behalf of BNSW
This is certainly a huge achievement for a small and struggling association to have as many representatives following the NSW Basketball development pathway.
