While the past weekend may have seemed like winter in some parts of the country, snow in Alberta through to Northern Ontario! Footy continues to awaken and gain momentum. Here is what is on this weekend across Canada.
After a successful women's tournament two weekends ago AFL Quebec returns to action with an inaugural World Cup Tournament which will also serve as a men’s draft tournament. 4 teams will be created and provide an exciting day of competition.

The AFL Ontario home and away season begins with a men’s Division 1 Grand Final rematch of the Broadview Hawks and the Central Blues on Friday night at the Humber College Lakeshore campus ground,6:25 p.m. start. A full day of matches begins with the High Park Demons women hosting the Hamilton Wildcats at 8:30 a.m. followed by the division 1 men match ups of High Park Demons vs the Hamilton Wildcats at 10:00 a.m., Toronto Dingos vs the Toronto Eagles at noon and the Toronto Rebels host the Ottawa Swans at 2:00 p.m. The Central Blues women will take on the Etobicoke Kangaroos to finish the Day at 4 p.m. The remaining division 1 men’s game will see the Grand River Gargoyles hosting the Etobicoke Kangaroos at Margaret Greene Park in Guelph at 11:00 a.m. AFL Ontario division 2 competition will see action beginning the following week.
The Calgary Kangaroos Australian Football Club will be hosting the inaugural Banff Ave Brewing Co AFL 9's tournament on Saturday. The games will be played at the Rugby field in Banff, with beverages supplied by Banff Ave, and the after party and presentations to be held at Wild Bill's Legendary Saloon. Games begin at9:30 a.m. with the Grand Final scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
BC Footy Round 5 action this week will see the Burnaby Eagles will face the Vancouver Cougars Blue team at noon on Saturday. At 2:00 p.m. The second women’s match of the season will take place followed at 3:00 p.m. with the West Coast Saints taking on Vancouver Cougars White.

Les saisons à domicile et à l'étranger de AFL Ontario commencent avec une revanche da la grande finale de la Divison 1 entre les Hawks de Broadview et Central Blues vendredi soir au Collège Humber, sur le terrain du campus Lakeshore. La ronde 5 du Footy de Colombie Britannique cette semaine verra les Eagles de Burnaby affronter les Cougars Blues de Vancouver à midi samedi. À 2:00 PM, le second match féminin de la saison aura lieu, suivi des Saints de West Coast contre les Cougars White de Vancouver à 3:00 PM
