21 March: Rowan Cordes awarded Life Membership
Rowan Cordes has been awarded life membership with Central Districts Lions Basketball Club. He was recognised at our home ABL Game on March 21.
Rowan has played over 300 senior games for the club with well over half of those been with our ABL/Div 1 side. He also played Central's Juniors and has been involved with the club for over 15 yrs.
He has coached Div 2 and U20 Div 1 men in the past, and took his U20 Div 1 men to the Summer Season finals in 2007. He is also our current U12 Div 1 Boys Coach. Rowan has played for outstanding coaches such as Ricky Simpson and Bob Hunnerup and with some outstanding players.
This day and life membership was an outstanding way to recognise Rowan's years of dedication to the Lions.
