2009 Vietnam Basketball Tour Team Trials

Saturday 15 November Sunday 16 November
DBA is looking to take Junior and Senior teams to Vietnam in June/July 2009. The Chief Minister’s Office is assisting the DBA in organising this proposed basketball and cultural tour. Basketball in Vietnam is one of three top sports played and the games are expected to be competitive.
Official dates and travel itinerary will be announced ASAP but the tour is expected to take place during the 2009 June/July school holidays. The length of the tour will be approximately 12 days and shall include 6 games per team.
Please Note : Estimated cost is $2,500. A full breakdown will be provided in due course.
If selected in a team, a non refundable deposit of $ 900.00 is required by Wednesday 19 November 2008. This deposit will go towards the cost of the airfare and will include travel insurance.
Please note: If selected in a team and the deposit of $ 900.00 is not paid by Wednesday 19 November 2008, you will forfeit your place in the team. This is not negotiable.
Payment Schedule
First Payment : Wednesday 19 November $ 900.00.
Second Payment : Wednesday 18 February $900.00.
Final Payment : Wednesday 20 May, 2009 $ TBA.
Cheques are to be made out to the DBA. Parents, please ensure you receive a receipt.

Please note; these are proposed teams only and are subject to on-going negotiation with Vietnamese Officials. The final makeup of the touring party will be confirmed on Friday 14 November and posted on the DBA website. Please check the website to confirm.
