FIBA has recently released a series of rule changes that officially will come into effect from 1 October 2018. These rule changes will be used in all State Championships and BQJBC/QNJBC events for the 2018-19 calendar, including the Grading Tournaments for BQJBC (even though these take place in September). Last Friday night may 29th 2015 we announced the winner of the Branding competition. Our winner was Courtney Murphy from the Suncoast Clippers who came up with the Name Sunshine Coast Phoenix. Courtney's entry was very comprehensive linking the merging of the three new clubs to be linked to the rising of the mythic creature the Phoenix.
