COVID-19 Safety First for ALL SDBA members

Updated Nov 2020

SDBA has adapted the BNSW Return to Sport Guidelines to suit the SDBA context. These incorporate the BNSW Covid-19 Return to Sport Guidelines, Social Distancing and Hygiene Considerations for Basketball Activities in a Stadium and the Basketball Australia Return to Basketball Guidelines.

SDBA policies are listed below:

- By-Law amendment

- Training and development sessions

- SDBA BioSecurity Officer checklist

SDBA Safety Plan

- SDBA Safety Plan - canteen

- SDBA 'Kiss and Drop' zone - please walk your young person to the steps outside the stadium, make an arrangement where you will meet your young person at the end of their game. The players will exit from the back door and walk down the concrete path to meet you.  Thank you for your support.

SDBA will employ a Bio Security Officer (BSO) each night the stadium is open. The BSO role description is here.

SDBA is a registered Covid-19 Safe business.

Posters for Covid-19 safe basketball can be seen around the stadium and on all our social media pages. Our Covid-19 policies are available in our canteen.

BNSW Covid-19 information can be found on the BNSW website.
