When our original website was created, the history of Springwood & Districts Basketball Association was published. Then a second website was made and the story of SDBA was 'lost'.  We would like to add this back to our current sportstg website. 

We are seeking assistance from any members, past and present, that may have information we can share.

Originally SDBC was part of the Penrith Association, then for a short time SDBC was part of Blue Mountains Basketball Association for Reps. When the Blaxland stadium was opened in 2003, SDBA separated from Blue Mountains Basketball Association. 

  

In 2019, Springwood & Districts Basketball Club officially changed its name to Springwood & Districts Basketball Association Inc with the Department of Fair Trading.
