COVID-19 UPDATE 22ND MAY

Some outdoor Basketball is now permitted:

BNSW have just announced that people can now practise some basketball outdoors. The following strict conditions apply:
• Less than 10 people in total (including coaches and parents etc)
• Everyone at least 1.5 meters from each other at all times
• No physical contact in any manner
• No sharing of basketballs, uniforms, drink bottles etc.

VALE GEOFFREY HOWAT

We are saddened to announce the passing of one of our life members, Geoffrey Howat. Geoff passed away on Wednesday, 13th May, following a long battle with prostate cancer.

Geoff began playing for Sydney YMCA at CSBA in 1973 when he moved from Brisbane to Sydney to work for the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Whilst working at the Bureau he met his future wife, Eileen. In 1995 he met Chris Woomore
