MSBL Coaching Announcement

With the 2020 West Coast Classic tournament coming to an end for the Willetton Tigers teams last weekend, the Willetton Basketball Association was advised by MSBL Head Coach Steve Black during this week that he will not be seeking re-appointment to the role for the 2021 SBL season.

Black has been at the helm of the MSBL team since part way through the 2016 SBL season when he took over from then departing coach Alan Black. During his time in the role he has always given his utmost dedication and showed strong passion towards the team and club he has had a long time involvement in, whilst developing a roster which the club can build on in future years.

WBA CEO Mark Winnett said "On behalf of the WBA I would like to thank Steve for his committment and dedication towards the MSBL program during his time as Head Coach and we wish him all the very best for his future on and off the court".

The WBA will advertise for a Head Coach for the MSBL program in the next week.
