TEAM SHEET:
$70 per team must be paid before taking the court.
$75 per team (A Grade) must be paid before taking the court.
REGISTRATION:
$250 per team.
FINAL QUALIFICATION:
Players must be present and take the court in seven (7) fixtured games to qualify for Finals. Referees will mark the scoresheet at half-time. NO EXCEPTIONS.
WALKOVER FINES:
Notified (48 hours before game): $115
Un-Notified (Less than 48 hours notice): $170
Notice must be given directly to Competition Supervisor.
Walkover fines must be paid before taking the court for the next game.
SCORING DUTY:
All teams must have a competent scorer on the score bench that is not a player and 14 years or older.
TIMING:
Rules are displayed on the score table.
SIN BIN RULE:
11.1 In any MBA competition, when a referee awards a technical foul to a player, the player is required to sit on the bench (Sin Bin) for five (5) minutes playing time
In junior competitions the player can be substituted.
In senior competitions, no substitution will be permitted (except senior A Grade competitions).
11.2 In any MBA competition a player who receives two technical fouls or a disqualifying foul, will automatically receive a 1 game suspension from all competitions in which they participate. In senior A Grade competitions, this will apply for 1 technical or disqualifying foul.
CODES OF CONDUCT:
For Coaches, Players, Parents & Spectators will be strictly adhered to and will be enforced. The codes are available on our website and on Basketball Victoria's website
