This year we will be looking to host our AGM on Friday February 20th, in Guelph. The plan agenda is pretty quick but required. a) pass our official Bylaws (so we can get grants), b) elect new Exec (Please think about joining to support, I am planning to stay on as President, however there maybe some other roles around. It is SOOOOO important that we get the support from the players to run the club.) We will have a location and confirmed time to come, but please do plan to join.
2. Storm Box Seats
We have received a Box of 18 seats for the Guelph Storm game on February 20th. (Notice the date co-incides with the AGM). We will be doing a fundraiser for this night. Offering tickets to players (and one other guest) for the night. $30 each (Normally $40), which will include some food. This is a First come-First Serve deal. Money in hand means you get the ticket. (No IOU's). You can send money to firstname.lastname@example.org via bank transfer to reserve your seats. If all are not taken by Feb 1st, we will offer it to other people. Oh, and this game is vs Erie, so you can get the chance to see #1 draft pick Connor McDavid in action.
3. 2014 Fees
We have a new fee structure for the year. This way it is much more fair for those who play and pay. Here is how it works.
Full-Time players - $225
Students - $125
Rookies - $50 for first 4 Games, Full Fee After
If you PAY IN FULL by APRIL 1st, you will be eligible for our repayment program. This means that if you miss games, the money will be refunded to you at the end of the season (As per the breakdown below, based on team funds available).

Therefor: If you pay the full $225 and are only able to play 5 games, we will refund you 225-135 = $90.
Pro-rated to students as well. The result is, if you do not make the games as planned, you do not get selected for the team or are injured, you will get money back. There is no loss to you (but again only if you pay in advance)
Remains the same as last year. You can pay 1/2 the fees by the first game, 1/2 the fees by July 1st. Rates remain as above ($225, $125, $50), however, there is no refund. If you are NOT paid by the games, you are suspended from all club activity.
PAY IN FULL BY THE AGM DATE (FEB 20) AND RECEIVE A $25 DISCOUNT.
Payment: We will confirm, but here may be a way to also get your payment as a tax deductible receipt. Working on this, but if not, it can be submitted via cheque, cash or e-transfer
***Not that players who have not purchased a uniform will need to do so. Cost is $50. Players who have, will not need too. Some people did not purchase their uniform last year, and as a result may lose those numbers ***
4) Indoor Training
Robbo will be releasing a list of training for the indoor. (as well as expected costs for this). Our first one is Feb 28th at Budd! This will be promoted as a special "Into to Aussie Rules" and get everyone working on the basics. We want EVERYONE to try to bring a friend out. This year we welcome the "Beer for a Buddy" Promotion. If you bring a player out that plays a single game with us in the season, we will give you a Beer card for 5 Beers ($15 Value). If you bring someone who plays 4 or more, that goes up to a 15 Beer Card. Bring out 4 people, you wont have to pay for drinks ever again.
