The Hamilton Wildcats are currently looking to take on new recruits and expand its playing membership base for the 2010 season, set to get underway this May.
The sport of Australian Football is a fast paced, athletic, challenging sport that is a fantastic way to keep fit and try something new. Not only is it great fun, but is accessible to all ages and sizes due to the unique nature of the sport. Think you've got what it takes to play Aussie Footy? Prove it by joining up today! The Wildcats are currently training indoors at the Athletic Club in Brantford (which you can come along to and use the gym FREE of cost) but will likely venture outdoors in April before the beginning of the regular season in the 2nd week of May. Training runs every Tuesday and Thursday, and the season runs from May through to September with games being played in Hamilton, Guelph, Toronto and one yearly trip up to Ottawa.
After some great success in 2009, the club is looking to continue this with a strong recruiting drive in 2010. It costs NOTHING to come out and give the sport a go and ZERO knowledge of the sport is required. So if you are looking to try something new and exciting this summer and have a lot of fun don't hesitate to contact us for more information on the club and how to go about signing up.
