Good afternoon guys,

I hope you are well.

This Friday 2nd September, we are asking everyone in the Rugby League family to wear their jersey to work and/or school in support of raising awareness of The Organ and Tissue Authority and the Donate Life network.

Jersey day is a simple concept inspired by Nathan Gremmo, a Junior League player who was tragically killed in a car accident in May last year.

This campaign is all about awareness - there is no requirement to raise funds. The intention is to fill social media with positive images and stories that show support for this cause. Jersey Day is merely a fulcrum to begin the conversation with friends and family about the DonateLife message.

If you are on social media, it would be great if you post a pic and mention/tag @donatelifetoday or use hashtags #JerseyDay & #EndTheWait on the day.

Thank you and I hope you join me on Friday by wearing your favourite jersey (doesn’t have to be rugby league related) to raise awareness for this fantastic cause
