29 year old, 186cm, 96kg key defender CHB
Sean originally played junior basketball with the Dandenong Rangers before moving to the Waverley Falcons where he played in the VBL.
After giving up basketball in 2009 he made the move to football where he began playing for the Doveton Football Club as a key defender.
Sean was runners up in the Best & Fairest for the Doveton Football Club for the 2017 season.
Shaun "Borna" Semmens
29 year old Midfielder
Shaun has played over 200 games for the Doveton Football club since the age of 17 winning 2 Best & Fairest awards and is a fitness fanatic who can run all day.
Head Coach Glenn Daley says the maturity and physical presence of both players will complement the talented youth of Emerald, Daley says the feel around the club is buzzing with excitement with 70 players turning up to the first 3 sessions of pre-season.
Training is on Monday and Wednesdays at Chandler Reserve commencing 6.00pm sharp.
Jacob Castricum – Castro
26 year old,195 cm ruckman / key position player
Jacob has spent the last 6 seasons playing over 100 games in first division EFL football. He initially began at Knox football club (2 seasons), followed by most recently Vermont (4 seasons). He was part of the Vermont 2016 senior grand final team and was judged best on ground in the 2017 reserves premiership winning team.
Prior to his time in the EFL, Jacob spent time with Port Melbourne in the VFL and Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup.
Jacob is an qualified engineer graduating from Deakin University and lives in Ferntree Gully with wife Bec.
Head Coach Glenn Daley is delighted to have someone of Jacobs calibre and football ability joining the Bombers young talented playing group and is excited at the clubs future.
