And just like that the 2019 premiership season is finished. What a year!

The Bloods have seen vast improvement accross the board and every player, supporter and volunteer should be proud with EFNC efforts.

The senior and reserve footballers although didn't make the top 5, had more wins on the board than in previous seasons. The A grade and A Reserve netballers had a successful season making it all the way to the preliminary finals. Special mention for A reserve who finished bottom in the 2018 season. The junior sides all made finals, with the U15s netballs playing the grandfinal, unfortunatly defeated by LBU 37 to 45.

Well done to all our best and fairest winners, please see side bar for the winners.

2020 season

The Elmore FNC are pleased to announce Dylan (Dyl) Friedberger as the Senior Coach for the 2020 season. Dyl is keen to work with Elmore's young talent plus capitalise on the improved performances shown through 2019. Dyl will lead by example on the track and field with his upbeat, positive attitude, getting the best out of the existing playing list, supported by some additional signings. A warm welcome to Dyl from the club and supporters as the Bloods charge ahead for the 2020 season.

Dylan's Player Profile includes;
Playing junior footy with Leitchville Gunbower captained the HDFL inter league side (under 15,17) also leading LG to the 2012 premiership and being named best on ground. From there ventures into Echuca for a couple seasons. Then with interest in football dwindling it was Cohuna that convinced him to go out the and play. It was here I was vice captain of the side, won a best and fairest. In 2017 season I did sneak out to Wakool as an assistant coach role but this would only last half a season (8 games) before the heart wanted to go back to Cohuna to settle unfinished business and play finals, I did however win the runners up best and fairest at Wakool. In the previous 2 season while having some trouble with my ankle has given me a lot of time to learn a lot of Scott Beattie who has been a massive influence on my growing my interest in pursuing a coaching career! I am really looking forward to this new venture with a great club and a ripper set of players!

Stay tuned for news on new recruits and more! Next year will be singing;

[Our Song]

It’s a grand old flag
It’s a high flying flag
It’s the emblem for me and for you
It’s the emblem of the team we love
The team of the Red and the White
Ev’ry heart beats true
For the Red and the White
And we sing this song to you (What do we sing!)
Should old acquaintance be forgot
Keep your eye on the Red and the White!
