The under 19's have lost in a thriller to Caulfield Grammarians by 3 points.
Whilst the Thirds got off to a winning start, knocking off the bye in the opening round.
Last but not least the three Mazenod Panther FIDA teams kicked off their season with mixed results. The blues beaten by a better team on the day, the blacks had the measure over coburg, whilst the whites had to settle for a walkover.

After the slow build up to preseason training from the core of our senior players I am glad to report to the Mazenod Old Collegians Community that we had 97 players train on Wednesday night. Yes 97 senior and U/19 players and surely this must be some record.more
Pre-Season training fires up again Wednesday 30th January, followed by Friday 2nd February and every Mon/Wed/Fri thereafter until the long weekend in March.
Mazenod Old Collegians Cricket Club Charity Day.
Mazenod Cricket Club are hosting their annual Charity Day this Sunday 27th January at the college. This year the Cricket Club is taking on the Footballers in a battle of the codes. The match will start at 2pm with a BBQ running all day and the bar will be open with drinks available at bar prices and all profits going to charity. All money raised on the day will go towards the Missions whom the College support every year through their Mission Action Day. We look forward to seeing as many people there as possible to support this great cause.
The Club is very excited about the opportunities that exists for season 2013! Wanting to build on the success of 2012 and all 4 teams reaching the finals, we want to go one better and get the ultimate success. The Richmond Cricket Club has today announced a planned move from Punt Rd Oval to Central Reserve, Glen Waverley. The move is supported by the Victorian Government, AFL, Richmond Football Club and the City of Monash who are all contributing financially to the construction of a new pavilion to be located on Central Reserve North (i.e. top oval).more
