AGM and Post Footy Season Blues

I hope everybody is enjoying the first Sunday off from football. It feels very bizarre not to be sitting on a side line somewhere enjoying a sausage sanga' whilst the faint scent of Dencorub wafts through the air! Although, I must say, the 'Sunday morning sleep-in' was welcomed back with open arms into our household this morning (unless you have kids, then the word/s 'sleep-in' will be foreign to you!). But alas, just because the football season is over does not mean the fun stops there!

Presentation Night will be held Friday, 20 September 2013 at the Tamworth Golf Club commencing at 6.30pm. Dress: smart casual. Your ticket price includes a three course meal and limited free bar.

Coaching Positions for all grades are still open. That is, U18s, Reserve Grade and First Grade as unfortunately at this stage U16's will be dropping back down to JRL next year. Closing date for coaching positions is 11 October 2013. All applications can be submitted by email to All interested parties are welcome to apply as the club is committed to a fair and transparent selection process.

AGM will be held Sunday, 13 October 2013 commencing at 11am at the club house. All positions will be open and we would love for you to help out if you are capable.

Volunteer Positions of all shapes and sizes! We would welcome you with open arms! You don't have to be a member of the committee to volunteer and you don't have to commit to giving away your first born! If you can only volunteer a few home games a season, volunteer to do a lap or two around the oval selling doubles, man the canteen for 1-2 hours to allow someone else a sit down and a replenish or assist with packing away at the end of each game it would be greatly appreciated. There is also a lot of work done behind the scenes and throughout the week. Feel free to speak to one of our committee members, come along to the AGM or email us on the above email address.

See you all at presentation night!
